    Authentic Indian cuisine delivered in the very comfortable surroundings of a former gentlemen's club (the Woodside). The restaurant is presented in warm inviting colours in a loose railway style. The food is stunning, fabulous, extremely tasty, and very good value at the price point.     You won't be disappointed making this your choice for a fantastic curry we visited on a Saturday evening having booked a table for my birthday. Met at the door by friendly staff who showed us to our table after ordering a round of drinks which were reasonably priced. we ordered the poppadoms and chutneys while we browsed the menus. The dips were delicious and plenty of poppadoms to go round. We opted for onion bhaji starters, which were huge and if I'm honest too much before ordering a main meal. They were fantastic and full of flavour. For mains I opted for the railway station lamb which was beautiful and full of spice the lamb just dropped to bits we ordered sides of chips and pilau the only disappointment was the chips weren't your normal run of the mill chips your normally served but to be fair we hardly touched them because of the portion sizes. We were all completely stuffed afterwards, and couldn't face a dessert so opted for the bill which if you message the lounge on facebook will give you a % off code to use so it's a good saving. All in all with rounds of drinks poppadoms starters and mains £ a person was great value especially with the extra % off. A brilliant restaurant would highly recommend will definitely be back to try another fantastic dish from the menu cheers.

    Well we started off brilliantly, wrong location! HahaFinally arrived and the place was buzzing with friends, families and couples. Easily sat down, and out came the popular poppadoms and pickle trays. Our mains arrived hot and with no problem.Will defo be back again and try other menu options.

    Atmosphere is lovely and very friendly.. I recommend booking as its very popular. There's a downstairs for drinks..snacks. upstairs to restaurant. Decor is inviting and warming.. music just right.. you are greeted immediately with a smile.. I love the friendliness of all staff. And they go that extra to make your time there special..Food is served hot. And as a party, all guests served together. Which I love. Good size portions. Very tasty. If you like things spicy ask. If you like it mild same. I find they cater for your needs with everything.Children especially. They are patient and look after everyone.. this is my first choice in meals out..Vegetarian options: You can ask for most curry options made onto veggie to suit you.. service is fantastic and staff friendly and attentive.. I highly recommend a visit here, you will want to go back..Dietary restrictions: These cater for all your needs. Talk to manager or staff.. they are brilliant..Parking: Car park and street parking..Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly. We have taken young children and they are very welcome. Even more so if its a special occasion. They will go out of their way to make a memorable experiance for birthdays.
